Welcoming Wednesdays at Grace
(Weekly Seniors' Program)
 

Grace's weekly seniors' program, popularly known as Welcoming Wednesdays, was officially launched at Grace Place on March 2, 2022. 

​

Grace seniors' program aims to provide fun, recreational, social, and educational programs to seniors in the Brampton community. Currently, the activities are held on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Additional program days are offered on some Thursdays, aka, Theme Thursdays where the group gathers around a theme (movies, games, socializing trips, etc.)  The program welcomes as many seniors as our program space allows. New registrations to the program are contingent upon availability and a screening process.

In 2022, the program was partially funded by provincial and federal grants. In 2023-24, the program is partially funded by City of Brampton and Federal grants.
